Spencer United Methodist Church, in partnership with the Reaching Higher for Life Foundation, is inviting the community of Spencer to start to dream with us as we contemplate the many possibilities for using the space currently occupied by the old lumber yard?

Dreaming is about an individual imagining all that could be possible. Dreaming removes limitations and boundaries that earthly thinking places upon us. While positive thinking can often lead to creative ideas and productive action, we recognize that we need a higher power to get involved with, for we are seeking a Jesus sized Dream.

With Jesus as part of our Dream Team, imagine all that is truly possible? Jesus Dreams are inspiring dreams to help us reach for the heavens, heal our wounds and let hope and joy define new possibilities. Let your Jesus sized dreams imagine a place where your past no longer defines you, when the tears of pain cease to blind us, and where the burdens of life no longer steal our purpose for life

Help us to Dream a Jesus sized Dream, where there can be a place in our community where words such as “Hope”, “Joy”, “Love” and “Forgiveness” become doorways to healing our own wounds and the wounds of others while we rediscover the pathways to living out a Jesus Filled Life.

We invite all who are seeking a way to make a difference in our community, that is not just some program that comes and goes. What seeds can we plant, how big of an Ark do we need to build? Pray with us… Help raise funds to refurbish or rebuild the old lumber yard.

With Jesus help, can we build a light on top of the hill that shines into the darkness, to let a light of hope, peace, love and Forgiveness shine out before others…
